Just to say we came back -  the Shoebox Delivery Team. We left on Sunday 29th November and returned Wednesday 9th Dec.  We visited Iasi in NE Romania where we not only delivered Shoeboxes but visited the kindergarten we support and saw the new building at the Farm of Hope. 

The rest of the UK team flew home Friday 4th Dec and Maria (our loyal photographer) and I then travelled by bus to the border of Romania and Moldova to Dancu.  Here we saw the two projects that we have just started to support - the meals to isolated elderly folk twice a week and an after school project for children with special needs. 

We then travelled up to Chisinau where we were met by Ruvim and Pasha and taken to Cosnita where Link Romania has funded the building of a Soup Kitchen.  From there we took a bus across the border to Odessa in the Ukraine where sadly shoeboxes didn't turn up in time but we had lots of fun giving out grey teddies with blue noses.
