Here at Link Romania, we are always trying to find extra ways to raise much needed funds for our projects.  We are working with two fundraising initiatives to do just that - Giveacar and EmptyCartridge Recycling Ltd.

We have decided to tell you all about our training on the run up to the Moldovan Bike Ride which is happening in May 19th - 27th this year and the fact that Trish Varndall and I have signed up to take part.  Trish argues that she was told a few days after her interview that as part of her new role she had to take part but I am claiming I don't remember that.

We have picked up all our Shoebox now and are packing them as quickly as possible for the next 4 trucks to take them out to Eastern Europe.  Here are just a few photos from places that we picked up shoeboxes from.  Our spot check delivery team go out to Eastern Europe this weekend - 4th December so we will have lots of photos of the Shoeboxes being delivered when we return.  Thank you for every Shoebox Collected.

We are very fortunate that along with your shoeboxes at Christmas time we use any small spaces on the truck to also send other items that our projects require.  However on this occasion we have a wide range of requests for items and we are looking to hire a truck and fill it with the items that have been requested by our project teams in both Romania and Moldova.
