Rotary Club of the Sussex Vale supports the Shoebox Appeal

We were delighted that representatives from Rotary 1250 came down to the warehouse today and looked around our Shoebox operation. We are even more delighted that the Burgess Hill Rotary Club have made us their Charity of the Year and have through the generosity of two of its members John Baker from Coin Co and Rober Maxwell of Rossetts Commercials have lent us a 38T Artic Truck to use for the Shoebox Appeal.

On Monday the Artic truck will start off on its journey round the country along with two transit vans to start to visit supporters and pick up their shoeboxes.  The truck will be on the road until Friday 27th November and will act as a 'mobile' warehouse with the smaller vans going out and bringing the shoeboxes back to be stored in the Artic truck.

We would like to thank Rotary for their generosity in providing the truck which will save the charity the cost of hiring in vehicles and therefore have more money to be able to give to its overseas projects.
