Join Club Link for £5 a month

One of the greatest ways you could support us is by becoming a member of Club Link and providing a regular donation to support our work. A regular gift allows us to plan for the future as we know we have a steady income stream we can rely upon. For more details on Club Link please click here.

Become a sponsor of ‘A Future Changed’

‘A Future Changed’ is Link Romania’s educational and social care programme, based in Iasi, Romania. We require sponsorship of the project to help fund social care and educational work based in Dallas Shanty Town and the ‘Little Rainbows’ Kindergarten, where families and children live in extreme poverty and squalid conditions. Volunteer for Link Romania

Could you spare a few hours a week to help out in our head office or in one of our shops? Do you have an HGV licence, and would you be willing to help collect our Family Shoeboxes around the UK during our Shoebox Appeal in November? Take part in our Family Shoebox Appeal

The Family Shoebox Appeal is our biggest campaign that we run every year before Christmas, where we invite people to fill a shoebox with items for a whole family (guidelines and suggested contents below). Last year we delivered over 45,000 shoeboxes! We send out these shoeboxes of gifts to those families who need it most; where a lack of food or fuel makes it a struggle to survive and are a priority above presents. We like to think of each one as a shoebox full of smiles, bringing a little bit of light into families’ lives and letting them know someone is thinking and caring about them. We have places available to run the Brighton Marathon next year for Link Romania. For further details please click here.  If some a little more adventurous appeals to you then we have places available for our Moldovan Cycle Challenge next May. This promises to be a once in a lifetime opportunity and experience! For more details please click here.  

Donate your unwanted items

We welcome donations of good quality clothing, bric a brac, toys, books and furniture to sell in our Link Romania shops.  You can drop your items into any of our five shops listed here.  We also have a furniture team who would be delighted to hear about any furniture you would like to donate and if it's saleable then arrange to pick it up.  We can also deliver any larger furniture items bought in any of our shops. This service operates within a 10 mile radius of Worthing.  We also do full and part house clearances for which a small fee may apply.  Please contact the Furniture Team on 07982 432636.

Organise your own fundraising event

We value any help our wonderful supporters can give, so if you don’t fancy running a marathon for us, here are just a few ideas you might consider:-

Become a Link Romania speaker

Would you like to help us spread the Link Romania word? Do you enjoy public speaking? Recycle your empty printer cartridges and unwanted mobile phones

In partnership with EmptyCartridge Recycling Ltd, a leading Recycling company, we have developed a scheme to turn your old mobile phones and empty printer cartridges into valuable funds to help continue our work. If you would like to help us raise funds for Link Romania whilst at the same time reducing the amount of electronic waste consigned to landfill simply visit http://www.emptycartridge.co.uk/linkromania to be sent some freepost bags to fill and return at no cost to you.

Donate your unwanted cars to the Giveacar scheme

Link Romania is working with fundraising initiative Giveacar, which can tow away your unwanted car and donate the profits to Link Romania, and it won’t cost you anything!

How Giveacar works

Step 1 – Contact Giveacar via www.giveacar.co.uk to let them know you would like to donate your car. Don’t forget to select Link Romania as your charity of choice.

Step 2 – A tow truck will arrive within one-three days to pick up your vehicle.

Step 3 – The vehicle is then disposed of in an environmentally-friendly way either through recycling scrap or auction.

Step 4 – Giveacar will donate the proceeds (after administration costs and VAT) to Link Romania.

It’s that simple!

Giveacar can pick up any vehicle anywhere in the UK.
